Write a Reaction Paper that demonstrates you have thought critically about the issues in the reading. Devote one content paragraph to address each chapter learning objective:
Differentiate between sensory memory and short-term memory.
Describe working memory and its components, contrasting it with short-term memory.
Summarize findings from neurological studies regarding memory processes.
Keep in mind that the goal of a reaction paper is not merely to summarize the chapter but also to critically evaluate key issues. Take a position and defend it with arguments and evidence.
Your reaction paper will be graded on the following four criteria:
Organization. The submission should be organized in proper essay format, and paragraphs should be organized around a single topic.
Mechanics. The submission should be reasonably free from errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as free of awkward phrasing.
Content. The submission should discuss important topics from the reading.
Development. The submission should include a well-developed discussion that demonstrates critical thinking of each topic that is raised in the essay.
