Persuasive Business Letter Assignment
Choose one of the following scenarios:
1. As the president of your company, you have been invited to participate in a popular local fundraising event. The commitment to the project requires joining forces with another local company to form a team that will compete against other paired businesses in a relay walk-a-thon. Write a letter to another company president persuading him/her that joining your company’s team would be mutually beneficial.
2. You are dissatisfied with the service that you received from a local business. Write a letter to the president detailing the situation and persuade him or her to rectify the issue to your satisfaction.
3. As the company president, you notice that most of the employees of the business located next to yours have been parking in your parking lot. Write a letter to the president of the company explaining the situation and propose a solution.
4. You have a niece who is very skilled in her career field. As a business leader in the community, you would like to use your connections to help her find a job. Write a letter to the president of the company where she would like to be employed, and persuade him or her that your niece would be an asset.

Using the proper format for a business letter (see the example below this assignment in Blackboard), write a letter with three body paragraphs. Research is not necessary for this assignment. Make sure you PROOREAD before you send your letter! Double check that all names and addresses are spelled correctly.
Your letter must be in BLOCK format and fit on ONE page. There is an example provided on Blackboard in the Week 7 folder. Make sure your spacing settings are correct: Before and After Spacing should be set a 0pt and Line Spacing should be 1.5 lines.
All assignments must be completed in either Arial or Times New Roman, 12-point font and saved as either Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format documents.
