Lesson plan to educate undergraduate college nursing students on end of life care and hospice care. It needs to be laid out loke a traditional lesson plan and should educate with a needs assessment to determine that appropriate teaching language and educational levels are used as well as assessing diversity needs of rhe audience (eg: culture, religion, race, etc…). The lesson plan should follow someone sort if template format with stated learning objectives and a way to evaluate it these objectives have been met successfully. The lesson should cover the medicare hospice benefit, eligibility guidelines, and ways to introduce the topic of hospice (benefits of inititating as early as possible in the disease process to reap all the benefits hospice has to offer).
