I need to answer this question: “Was the ‘First Wave of Globalisation’ a period of convergence or divergence?”
The final essay should be no more than 2,000 words. It should be in complete essay format and include a full bibliography.
You need to combine economic analysis and history. Neither straight narrative history nor pure theoretical analysis is acceptable.
Make sure to label your introductions, highlight your main thesis, arguments and conclusion.
All sources, whether they are course readings in the form of a journal or a book, must be cited. References can be done in any style you prefer, in keeping with department guidelines on referencing.
