1. In each group there will be 2 sub-groups. You will be assigned to a sub-group with another person in which you will debate the side you are assigned by the instructor. The other two students in your group will form another sub-group and they will debate the sides they are assigned by the instructor. You will evaluate the other sub-group’s debate and declare a winner.
2. You will write a 1-page essay that explains:
What was particularly strong about the performance (video and discussion board debate) of the person you chose as the winner?
What was particularly week about the performance (video and discussion board debate) of the person you didn’t choose as the winner?
What is your personal view on the issue and what piece of evidence from the debate most impacted your view?
Make sure to format your paper using Chicago writing style. Please note that a title page is NOT required for this assignment, but if you utilize resources to support your writing content, you must include a bibliography page at the end of your paper.
