Collect original articles about a current world issue from a variety of sources. Be sure to include items from the Internet, newspapers, journals and magazines. The more varied the source of articles and information, the better the final project will be.
The articles should reflect a variety of viewpoints and new information in each article. Avoid repetition!
Be sure to include URL for the articles.
The articles may be from 2016–2022.
They must be from on-line sources.
Create a title for your issue.
Arrange the articles in chronological order.
Hyperlink the URL under each of the article titles.
Write a brief summary of NEW information underneath after each URL.
At the end of the selection of TEN (10) articles, you will write a synopsis of the issue.
Synopsis Requirement: Part A:
Why is the issue a concern? Select a specific topic of concern.
Create a thesis and prove the argument with strong evidence.
Include in-text citation. ex. (source, year)
Length: 1200 words, single-spaced. —-> Include a word count at the end of the essay.
Part B:
How has the issue evolved over the time frame of your scrapbook? Time frame could be from the start of issue OR from 2016-2022.
Length: 350 words. —> Include a word count at the end of the response.
Part C:
What sides are involved in the issue?
What are their viewpoints?
Length: 300-350 words. Include a word count at the end of response.
Part D: Work Cited
Work Cited in APA format.
